Hi there! My name is Kayra Erisoglu-Akyildiz. I am a student of computer engineering at the University of Waterloo. My current interests lie in semiconductor device physics as well as quantum information and computing. In the future I hope to conduct research in these fields and contribute to their advancement. My research experience has taken place in academic settings such as the University of Waterloo's Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department and the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC). There I have developed my technical skills in cleanroom semiconductor device fabrication and experiment design/implementation. I also have comprehensive skills in computer programming, with experience ranging from device firmware to programming control systems for scientific experiments.
